American author of whom I can find practically no information at present. She appears to have written only one book, a thoughtful story of a young boy who comes to terms with the problems of being half white, half Indian, with the help of the wild horse he looks after.

Easy to find in the USA. Harder to find elsewhere, although there may be one or two copies to be found on the internet.
